The Adventure: Your Role

As a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT), you are a mentor, a coach, and a daily hero. You will:

• Be the Ultimate Guide: Teach essential life skills—from morning routines to mealtime—helping our residents maximize their independence.
• Ignite Joy: Lead recreational activities and social sessions that keep our residents engaged and smiling.
• Be a Guardian of Care: Ensure health and safety by following individualized care plans and managing medications (we'll train you!).
• Champion Progress: Celebrate every win as you implement behavior support plans and help kids reach their full potential.

Your Superpowers (Requirements)

• Age & Education: You're 21+ with a High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: You've spent at least one year working with this wonderful population.
• Character: You lead with honesty, integrity, and a deep commitment to our mission.
• The "Can-Do" Spirit: You have excellent communication skills and work well with a close-knit team.
• Reliability: You're ready for a set, full-time schedule (7am-7pm or 7pm-7am shifts).

The Nitty-Gritty (Physical & Safety)

This role is active and hands-on! You'll need to be physically able to:

• Lift up to 50 lbs. and keep up with active residents (standing, walking, and running!).
• Navigate a variety of settings, from the classroom to the great outdoors.
• Handle the ups and downs of behavioral support with patience and a calm head.
• Pass all necessary background checks (SLED, DSS, Sex Offender Register, and DMV).
